Doris Duke Fellows and the Nelson Institue Forum present: On Building a Green Campus. Several student groups present the results of their 8-week projects in "greening" UW-Madison's campus. Come see what they've done to help UW walk the talk.
Possible student presentations include: Developing a coffee composting program for the dorms; Sustainable hand drying in Van Hise; and The importance of a Green Roof.
Other guest speakers to be determined.
EarthWeek, late April:
Join the "Conscientious Cruiser", a bus running solely on BioDiesel, for a tour and presentation of this renewable energy source. Celebrate the work of former U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson in this week of festivities.
